In 2022, several brands, Hero Lectro, Volton, etc., launched many new electric bicycles.

Newly Launched Electric Bicycles in India
Hero Lectro C1
Launched in 2022, Hero Lectro C1 is a new electric bicycle which comes at an attractive price range with some of the best features for city commuters. This electric vehicle is perfect for commuting in a city with a coverage of 30 km on one charge. It has a 480 mm frame and comes in three different colours. The battery capacity of Hero Lectro C1 is around 5.8 Ah, with the motor being 250 W and with a range of 30 km. C1 has been formulated to last a long time with its sturdy and strong model.
T-Rex+ is an upgraded new launch of the electric bicycle of EMotorad. With the upgradation of T-Rex+, the range of the bicycle has been claimed to be approximately 35 km with a good speed of 25 km, which is received from the electric motor of 250W. It is meant for hilly areas; so riders can ride on mountain terrain. This design has an aluminium frame in the front, which also gives the T-Rex+ 100mm of travel. The speciality of this new electric bicycle is that it is made in India and manufactured by the Indian electric cycle producer EMotorad.
Yamaha CrossCore RC
This new model of Yamaha provides you with an attractive look and features that create a balance between style and practicality. The model provides pedal assistance of up to 28 miles per hour. The bicycle features the new drive unit of PWSeries ST, which uses four different sensors of pedal torque, speed, incline/decline, and crank rotation which continually adjusts power delivery. The model further uses 500Wh batteries along with four power modes: high, standard, eco, and eco+. The CrossCore RC has been designed to help you with a flat handlebar in general transportation and fitness.
Indian eFTR Hooligan 1.2
When many brands launched their new electric bicycles, even India got into the market and partnered with Super73 to launch the electric bicycle, which has a retro look with minibike styling. This model has been inspired by the model Super73 S2, along with other touches such as an LED headlight, relocated battery, thick tyres, and an inverted front fork.
This bicycle holds a battery of 960Wh, which drives the vehicle’s hub motor for approximately 40 miles without any pedalling. The eFTR has the flexibility of being able to move between several different modes of the ride, which include Class 1, Class 2, and Off-Road.
Hero Lectro C5X
Among the new electric bicycles launched by Hero Lectro, C5X is the most preferred electric bicycle among customers so far. It is built for taking short rides in a city, runs till 30 km with a single charge, and has a detachable battery. This charging bicycle also comes in two different colours: green and red. Like its other new launch of C1, it has the same battery capacity, motor, and range of 30 km.
The approximate charging time taken by this e-bike is 304 hours, and it comes with an LED display with models for pedal assistance. The pedals are anti-skid allow pedals, and the bicycle has a single speed with a chain-wide of 12.7 mm x 2.38 mm.
Hero Lectro F1
The Hero Lectro F1 has the same display, battery charger, charging time, power, and motor as the rest of its new launches. The rim of the electric vehicle is a dual wall alloy, with the tyres being wider with city treads and American valve tubes. Hero utilises the ISO-certified disc brake for its brake set with a handlebar of featherlight alloy.
This year, many popular electric bicycles came up, but only some of them could meet the customer’s preferences. Depending on what you may need and the kind of terrain that you would drive your e-bike on, you can choose any e-cycle that you prefer and which meets your needs.
