Anatomy of the shoulder- Chest muscles have been made of primarily pectoral muscles which are divided into two pectoralis major and pectoralis minor.  Both muscles have importance for the movement of the shoulder effectively. The main function of these muscles is to stabilize the scapula on the thoracic wall and draw the scapula anterior inferior.  Together these muscles help the joint’s movements and make the day-to-day task possible.

Lower Chest Workout- To develop the lower chest muscles people shall go with incline push-ups, and parallel-bar dips.

Following are the steps to do them

Incline Push-Ups

  • For this exercise, you require a flat workout bench, jump box, and step platform.
  • You need to stand in front of the workout bench and place your hand shoulder-width apart on the edges of the bench.
  • Take the plank position with a deep breath and keep your legs backward straight until it stretches.
  • Gradually do the push-ups like bending the arms and lowering the chest. Keep elbows and arms closer to the body.
    gradually, come back to the starting position, and extend the arms.
  • Keep doing these 8 – 10 reps for one set.

Parallel-Bar Dips

This exercise will help to enhance your endurance power and maintain the aesthetic look of the shoulder as it is a good chest workout. To perform this exercise you required a set of parallel bars.

  • Grip the bar using the strength of your arms.
  • Push your body up or above the bar.
  • Gradually start lowering your body forward until you haven’t felt the stretch.
  • Exhale and lift the body back up above the bar.
  • Repeat it for 10 minutes.

Upper Chest Workout

This will be the best chest exercises for men to improve their cardiovascular health. Here are a few good chest workouts that can be practiced to improve the upper portion of the chest for instance; the incline dumbbell bench press.

Incline Dumbbell Bench Press

  • To perform this exercise you require a dumbbell and it will help to make your Shoulder and Triceps strong.
  • Take the position and pick up the dumbbell off the floor. Keep the dumbbell in your hip crease and sit down on the edges of the incline bench.
  • Lay back and keep the weight close to the chest and inhale then press the dumbbell to lockout at the top.
  • Slowly lower the dumbbell
  • Then push the dumbbell back up to the starting position.

Dumbbell Chest Workout

  • Lye on the bench
  • Hold the dumbbell at the outside edge of your shoulder.
  • Press the dumbbell straight up above the chest and take a pause for a sec then come back to the starting position.

Cable Chest Workout

  • Take the position with the help of a trainer and then after standing in the middle of the machine by keeping cables in both hands.
  • Step forward and keep your weight on your front foot and slightly lean forward.
  • Pull the cable and hold the position for a while then go back to the starting position.
  • Keep this for 10 minutes.
